通勤的学生

资格

The commuting student must permanently reside locally or stay with authorized and responsible adult relatives that are able to provide care, shelter, meals, and supervision to the student for the duration of the Pre-College Program. On-campus housing is not included or permitted. Domestic and international students who reside outside the local Saratoga area that need accommodation or visa/I-20 support are not eligible for the commuter option. Students found in violation of this policy will be immediately dismissed from the program

运输

Student transportation to and from campus is the sole responsibility of the parent/legal 《火博体育官网》. 通勤的学生 must provide their own transportation to/from Skidmore. 

Pre-College students may not ride in cars of program or campus peers, including cars of other commuter or college students. 运输 must be arranged and supervised by the parent/《火博体育官网》.

通勤的学生 who plan to park on campus during the program must register their vehicle.

餐厅 

通勤的学生 do not receive a meal plan through their tuition and program fees. 通勤者 do have the option of adding funds to their Student ID Card account that can be used in the dining hall, cafes and vending machines on campus (also see Skidmore 身份证如下). 

校园访问

When not in class, commuter students may wish to study or spend time on campus. 露西 Scribner Library, campus common areas, and cafes are open to all commuter students.

Residence Hall Access/政策

On-campus housing is not available or permitted for commuting students. 所有预科 students are prohibited from being in the vicinity of campus apartments (including Northwoods and Sussman Village/Hillside) or any on- or off-campus college housing except the Pre-College residence hall. Pre-College commuters may visit their friends in the Pre-College residence hall; all visitors must sign in to the residence hall with their ID as a guest and depart the Pre-College residence hall by 11:00 p.m. 通勤者 may spend time with their Pre-College host friend and peers in the dorm lounge areas. All guests must abide by the Pre-College Program residential policies.

学生证

Communting students are welcome to add funds to their Skidmore 学生证 for campus meals/purchases.

• The ID number will always begin with a 00 and is printed on the ID card
• The last name must match the name printed on the Skidmore ID card
• Proceed through the payment portal
